The Tenuta Acton di Leporano is a productive settlement featuring a residential complex located at the heart of the estate, dedicated to olive oil production. It is centred around a large quadrangular square, where the main building for the owners and a private church are also situated.
The history of Tenuta Acton di Leporano
The village of Cannavà was established in the 18th century on land previously owned by the Grimaldi princes. In the 19th century, it came into the possession of the Serra di Cardinale family, who, after the earthquake of 1783, repurposed it as an agricultural hub. This included a manor house with an attached private chapel and a series of homes for the farmworkers.
