Palazzo Francesco Grassi, dating back to around 1864, is located in the heart of Aradeo surrounded by residential structures. The built surfaces are approximately 900 square meters on the first floor where the five suites with en suite bathroom are located, 750 square meters on the ground floor and 1000 square meters of garden. The facade of the Palace overlooks Via Palmiro Togliatti with a series of windows and ashlar portal.
The rear facade overlooks a garden, surrounded by high walls on the front, decorated columns and surmounted by sculpted pinnacles. A second gate closes the back of the Palace with a period paving and the atrium communicates with the serliana of the garden.
The rooms on the main floor have pictorial and floor furnishings dating back to 1893, as attested by the date on the vaults decorated by Agesilao Flora and assistants.
The mosaic floors bearing the family crest, the wainscoting and fake marble skirtings, the stucco squares on the walls of the hall and the overdoors with stucco clipei decorated with figures, complete the interior decorations, qualifying the space in a distinct Art Nouveau style.
The paintings on the vaults are dated 1893 and 1897.
The technique is that of oil on dry plaster used by Flora since his Roman apprenticeship, which saw him alongside Maccari in the decoration of the yellow room of the Senate in Rome, in the workers who painted the vault of the Argentina theater under the direction of Bruschi and in Salento where the painter imported the techniques acquired.
The environments are created based on the design use of each individual environment and based on the intended use of the room.
